About Us
Jan R. Armstrong was born in Odessa, Washington and obtained his high school diploma from Harrington High School in Harrington, Washington.  He is a 1975 graduate of Washington State University.  In 1978 he graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, Washington.  He was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1978.  He was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington in 1979.  Mr. Armstrong has been a Member of the Committee of Law Examiners of the Washington State Bar Association since 1985 and a member of the Fee Arbitration Committee of the Washington State Bar Association since 1984.  He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors and was President of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Eastern District of Washington for the 2000-2001 term.  Mr. Armstrong has been practicing law in Richland, Washington since 1978.  He practices primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy, Probate, Estate and Trust Planning, Elder Law, Commercial Law, and Real Estate.
Arthur D. Klym was born in Portland, Oregon and obtained his high school diploma from Laurelwood Academy in Gaston, Oregon.  He is a 1974 graduate of Walla Walla College.  In 1977 he graduated from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon.  He was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1977.  He was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington in 1978 and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington in 1979.  Mr. Klym is the President-Elect of the Benton-Franklin Counties Bar Association.  He began the practice of law in 1977 in Walla Walla, Washington.  He moved to the Tri-Cities in 1980 and has practiced there continuously since then.  Mr. Klym practices primarily in the areas of Family Law, Bankruptcy, Criminal Law, Real Estate, Personal Injury, and Civil Litigation.
Linda M. Waite was born in Colfax, Washington and obtained her high school diploma from Columbia High School (now Richland High School) in Richland, Washington.  She obtained her A.A. degree from Columbia Basin College and her Bachelor's Degree in 1970 from Central Washington University.  She obtained a Masters in Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 1977.  In 1980 she graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington.  She was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1981.  She was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington in 1982.  Ms. Waite began practicing law in Richland, Washington in 1981 and has practiced there continuously since then.  Ms. Waite practices primarily in the areas of Family Law, Social Security Disability, Criminal Law, and Personal Injury.
Thomas J. Atwood was born in Bethesda, Maryland and obtained his high school diploma from Kamiakin High School in Kennewick, Washington.  He is a 1981 graduate of the University of Washington.  In 1985 he graduated from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University School of Law) in Tacoma, Washington.  He was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1985. He was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington in 1986 and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington in 1990.  He began his legal career in Tacoma, Washington, but has practiced in the Tri-Cities area continuously since 1988.  Mr. Atwood practices primarily in the areas of Family Law, Bankruptcy, Criminal Law, and Civil Litigation.
